I share your outrage, disgust and pessimism over the current batch of 'journalists'. Simply stenographers, most are employed by the five major media owners who overtly or covertly shape the message to their benefactors' and owners' demands. The favorable court outcomes and press coverage tRump receives, and conversely the negatives Biden engenders, is to ensure the horse race, clicks and money continue to flow until the election - and since no matter the outcome, it will be contested - and beyond. I am becoming progressively more sure we have crossed the Rubicon and there is no going back...

Agree with every word.

While some talk of Civil War see the current era and its continuance as one where we could lose the country w/o a single shot fired.

Where to start, where to start? The journos seem to have fallen in love with their handy catchphrase: "HUSH MONEY." Yes, it's catchier if they don't include "in order to conceal damaging information and unlawful activity from American voters before and after the 2016 election." Do they use this phrase to describe, say, the bribes paid by corporate entities to conceal their exploitation of workers and their toxic-waste dumps?

I went looking for more info on al-Shurat -- and discovered something I did not expect: Shurat HaDin is an Israeli NGO that claims to have been inspired by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) but already I have my doubts. (Source: Wikipedia, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shurat_HaDin, but there's plenty of other info out there.)

Something I've observed over the decades: When "our" side does it, it's fighting for freedom. When "their" side does it, it's terrorism.

Salient points, ALL.

Started w/the attack then the news broke of the Trump doubleheader. Used it to express my outrage that isn't at all new vis a vis the media and a chunk of today's journos. Baffles me that a group call having to post a bond of $175M is a win for Trump knowing he lives on borrowed money. Hush money has to be the laziest and most disingenuous framing of 32 felony counts evah. Indeed, it's something one would expect from Trump's mouth.

The al-Shurat piece dovetails with what I earlier wrote regarding Clausewitzians. Long have found them to be myopic and most all all disinterested and disrespectful of the other side. That all can be captured and summed up by APNSA, SEC STATE, Prof. and MLB Baseball Commissioner Wannabe Connie Rice's infamous whowouldathunkit line regarding 911 and aircraft as missiles even after multiple dry runs originating in the Philippines were known. Note: Aircraft whether civilian, commercial, or military, have been used as missiles since their advent including by the US.

"Something I've observed over the decades: When "our" side does it, it's fighting for freedom. When "their" side does it, it's terrorism.

Terrorism and terrorists are at best nebulous and fall far short of what they truly are, barbarism and barbarians. Firebombing cities, the dropping of 2Atomic bombs, and the use of chemicals from mustard gas to Agent Orange are acts of barbarism. Hamas's 7October attack on southern Israel was barbarism. Bibi denying sufficient food, water, and medical supplies to Gazans is barbarism. The 4man IS-K cell attack is barbarism. Time hasn't changed the meaning, if anything time has reaffirmed it. There is no need to reinvent the wheel.

The twin events that best capture how the US views blackflaggers are Reagan in the Oval Office w/a group of them proclaiming them to be holy warriors without understanding what that means in their world and George W. Bush spitting at Mullah Omar's American-born/educated envoy and refusing Omar's traditional gift. Those Insults, offenses, disrespect, and underestimation, then declaring a Global War On Terror painted a big, bright bullseye on America and Americans for generations to come.

Well put sir. Each individual media mouthpiece often seeming unaware of their own lack of self awareness, as if they favor the currying of their own brain farts. Getting high on their own supply as it were. But that's ignorance in a nutshell, isn't it?
